You need an Account and password to access the server and you need to have the fmphp Extended Privilege turned on for the Privilege Set that this account uses. The Privilege Set needs access to create, edit and view records. We suggest creating a new Account and a new Privilege Set for RESTfm syncing only.
In the sample file, there is an Account called "RESTfmSync" with the same password, and a matching Privilege Set.
At a bare minimum you need access to the Layouts you'll create in a moment, and to edit the records. Scripts and Value Lists aren't required. ( RESTfm can call scripts, but we don't utilise this in RESTfmSync. Value Lists will be required if you're doing validation of field data against a Value List. )
For Container Fields
If you're also syncing container fields, you will need XML publishing turned on as well.
